Warstones Wanderers of the Wolverhampton & District SL have become the first casualties in the Sunday Cup, before they have even played a game in it!!
They have withdrawn from the competition, so their opponents, 3 time semi finalists Birstall Stamford of the Charnwood SL, have a walkover in to the 2nd round.
Unfortunately, hardly a season goes by without a team (sometimes more than one) withdrawing before the competition has started. Lets hope there are no more.
