I have it on good authority that West Bowling, the current Bradford Sunday Alliance league champions and West Riding County Sunday Cup holders are looking to enter this season's competition.
They have enquired about using both Liversedge and Bradford Park Avenue, as they require a ground on the south side of Bradford, to be near to their base.
A long established side, West Bowling have only recently developed a side capable of lifting major silverware. Their title deciding game with Buttershaw White Star at the end of last season, attracted the largest crowd seen for many a year for a league game (it was estimated to be watched by over 400 people).
I hope they will enter, as Bradford were represented by just 2 teams last season (Bolton Woods and Silsden) which is the lowest since Central 8 and Whetley Lane entered in 1987/88.

Hi
Thanks for visiting my FA Sunday Cup blog. I believe that this is the first blog devoted entirely to this wonderful competition and I intend to provide regular updates throughout the coming season and beyond.
For the uninitiated, the FA Sunday Cup is the nation's premier cup competition for Sunday league football teams. I will shortly create a post on the history of the Sunday Cup, for those who wish to know more about the 46 year history of the competition.
